Skin surgery Frankfurt - Outpatient operations in the practice's own operating theater
We perform outpatient operations with local anesthesia at our dermatology practice in Frankfurt.
In our practice, we cover the entire spectrum of skin surgery, e.g. on the head, neck, face and trunk.
Regardless of what is removed and how the removal is carried out – a modern operating theater is available in the practice. It does not matter whether a benign change (e.g. a fatty lump(lipoma), a cyst(atheroma), a skin appendage(fibroma)), a birthmark or another malignant skin change needs to be removed. A referral to a specialist colleague is therefore not necessary and everything remains “in one hand”.
Outpatient operations for benign and malignant skin changes
We perform outpatient operations of benign and malignant skin skin changes through.
Benign skin changes
Examples of benign skin changes are
- Birthmarks (nevi)
- Fibromas (nipples)
- Atheromas (groats)
- Lipomas (fatty tissue tumors)
- Warts
All procedures are carried out with the aim of achieving the best possible aesthetic result after surgery.
We use the latest surgical instruments, incision and suture techniques (e.g. continuous sutures under the skin) and natural skin folds to conceal scars.
Removal of malignant skin lesions
We remove malignant skin changes using so-called micrographically controlled surgery (3D surgery).
The skin lesion (e.g. white skin cancer) is completely removed using a special incision technique in which three-dimensional edges are visualized in two-dimensional histological sections.
With this technique, the recurrence rate (recurrence of the tumor) is >0.9 %. This does not affect the esthetic result.
Indications
- Melanoma (black skin cancer)
- Basal cell carcinoma (white skin cancer)
- Spinalioma or squamous cell carcinoma (white skin cancer)
- Lentigo maligna and lentigo maligna melanoma
- Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP)
- Merkel cell carcinoma
