Microneedling with Dermapen and PRP (vampire lifting)
In our practice for aesthetic medicine in Frankfurt, we carry out microneedling treatment with the Dermapen in combination with PRP.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma)treatment is an autologous blood therapy in which only 8-10 ml of blood is taken from the veins. The sample is then centrifuged and specially prepared to concentrate the body’s own platelets to a small amount of plasma. Plasma rich in growth factors (VEGF, EDGF, FGF) is then injected with a thin needle to stimulate collagen biosynthesis in the skin in a natural way.
The result of microneedling treatment in combination with PRR is significantly smoother, more elastic, finer-pored and fresher-looking skin.
With the additional application of microneedling using Dermapen (2.5 – 3 mm tissue depth), the PRP is applied evenly and evenly under the skin and irregularities in the skin (e.g. scars, coarse pores) are corrected. By precisely adjusting the depth, speed and size of the Dermapen, even the finest wrinkles, acne scars and coarse pores are effectively treated. In this way, the body’s own growth factors stimulate collagen production and significantly improve the skin structure.
The double effect achieves a long-lasting effect and a smoother and more even complexion. The procedure is carried out after pre-treatment with an anesthetic cream.
PRP therapy in combination with microneedling is particularly suitable for the treatment of:

How often should I have a microneedling treatment with PRP?
How often a microneedling treatment with PRP should be performed depends on individual skin needs and goals. As a rule, we recommend a series of 3 to 4 sessions at intervals of around 4 to 6 weeks to achieve optimum results. After the treatment cycle, a regular top-up every 6 to 12 months may be considered to maintain the long-term benefits of skin regeneration.

Plasma Eyes against dark circles - the treatment from the USA
Experience has shown that the treatment of dark circles is difficult. Swelling of the lower eye area often occurs after treatment with pure HA.
That is why we combine PRP treatment with fillers.
First, as with the vampire lift, the dark circles are treated with PRP 2 or 3 times at intervals of 3-4 weeks. After the last PRP treatment, a small injection of 0.05 – 0.15 ml HA is made in the area of the tear trough.
This achieves a significant improvement in dark circles without surgical intervention and without causing swelling or “stretching” the lower eyelid crease with an excessive amount of HA.
